The Girls’ Varsity Golf team has put themselves on par with victory, pulling off a Central Division team title in CIF Southern Section Team Divisional Championship. 

For senior and captain Megan Gormley, the championship was a high school goal finally fulfilled. 

“I’ve been working towards the CIF title for four years,” Gormley said. “To finally fulfill having that for our team was huge.” 

Their tour de force, accomplished by a team comprised of four underclassmen and led by Gormley, highlights a young and talented group looking to continue their winning momentum into the next year. 

“The team really feels like a family,” sophomore Kiyomi Komatsu said. “My first year here so far was a great one because of how well the team got along. I was scared of what to expect but the team really just clicked and we all formed a bond that can’t separate us.”
